An OFDM-MIMO Distributed Acoustic Sensing over Deployed Telecom Fibers

Abstract : We demonstrate the performance of a novel multi-carrier MIMO fiber sensing interrogator based on OFDM approach. Over an installed telecom fiber cable, coherent fading is mitigated by means of a purely digital subcarrier combiner.
