Particules ultrafines dans l'environnement domestique : Niveaux, Déterminants et variabilités - Projet NANOP
Résumé
NANOP project aims at assessing nanoparticles levels and their spatial and temporal variation in domestic environment simulated within an experimental house (MARIA) based at the Building Technical and Scientific Center (CSTB), i.e. a fully controlled domestic environment (as regards air exchange, heating...). Cooking, burning candles or incense, spraying air freshener, ironing... will be operated independently in MARIA as close as possible to real use. Secondly MARIA will be inhabited by volunteers for one week to simulate real life. Particulate matter (PM) analysers, condensation particle counters (CPC), scanning mobility particle sizer (SMPS), and specific surface analyser (AeroTrack®) will be carried out in the kitchen, the living-room, the bedroom, and outdoor. Possible relations between different metrics such as particle number, mass, specific surface, size distribution should be identified. Respective contributions of indoor sources to exposure, but also from outdoor air will be determined. Detailed measurement strategy and first results of the June 2007 campaign will be presented.
