Les modes de régulation du travail et leurs effets sur la santé des salariés : deux établissements d'accueil des personnes âgées en quête de management

Abstract : This research focuses on the links between management and health at work. In order to take into account the great complexity of these links, we focus on the "regulation modes" (Reynaud, 1989; Terssac (de), 1992) of the concrete work and attempt to draw parallels between these modes and the employee's welfare. The research is based on the ethnographic study of two health organizations. The health sector has been deeply transformed for a decade through the implementation of new managerial models. At the same time, health organizations face increasing problems of health at work. In the organizations we studied, we identified three major "regulation modes" and their impacts on occupational health.
